KDS Fire and Security is licensed by the Dept of Justice, Equality & Law Reform under the Private Security Authority (PSA) which was established in 2004 to regulate the private security industry in Ireland. The act makes it an offence for a security company or a person working in the industry to provide, or present themselves to provide, a security service without a PSA licence.
